Hi How are you? Not to wish my life away but I’m glad February is over and we are heading for Spring. For a short month I found February long & a hard month. Seeing the terrifying images from Ukraine is heart wrenching & fuel and energy price hikes have been the worrying conversations in the shop over these past few weeks. Better news is we are hopefully coming to the end of some restrictions which hopefully means this awful virus is weakening ~ I’m no expert so don’t take my word as gospel (although I for sure will still be wearing my mask for a while yet.)
So back to looking forward to this month, the world feels heavy just now and my escapism is nature & the getting outdoors. We’re heading off for a few days break and I can’t wait to pull on my boots and get out in the fresh air. I’ll tell you all about it when we get back. I’m really looking forward to the lighter morning dog walks, lighter nights, the temperature rising, our crocuses are up, we went a walk round the grounds of Culzean on Sunday and it was lovely to witness a sea of snowdrops and some daffodils . I can’t wait to plant bulbs and pot seeds in my makeshift greenhouse. The Easter eggs are in the shop, it’s pancake day, Alex Birthday, Mums Birthday, Mothers Day, lambing season is well on its way with lots of new life & lots of fun and cuddles. March (& September) is my month for decluttering the house and my wardrobe & I’m looking forward to getting stuck in. The shop is busy with Spring Summer deliveries & it’s great to see all the bright colours again. www.myserenityboutique.com
