Happy Thursday, the weekend is near and my Sunday day off is calling me.
I’ve found myself reaching for all black outfits, rain coats and boots. I’m blaming the weather. Storm Brendan hasn’t helped much this week, the weather has been awful and yes I know its Winter but the high winds and down pours Yuk! I visualising beautiful frosty morning with crisp winter sun.
So this week when I was planning my outfits and looking on the online stores for some inspiration & found myself being draw to white. I love a Winter white / cream outfit.
Here are some of my finds:
H and M have nailed it. I have these jumpers, they was great and were under £25.00
I’m tempted to buy this black and white cardigan, I have it in my basket then I take it out. I think I would need to go into a River Island store to try it on. It reminds me of the Balmain Cardigan.
If your looking to get spendy, I spent a while on Net a Porter, the dream….
Hope you spotted something you like, have a great weekend.
The past few years have been the coated jeans which I still love. I have my black ones and my burgundy ones which come out year after year. There also available from my shop.
This year the trend falls on faux leather leggings and trousers again and I couldn’t be happier. With styles to suit everyone no matter of you’re age or shape I think this is a great piece of clothing to purchase and I’m sure it will be around for years to come. Mention leather trousers and the scene from friends with Ross and the talcum powder or a cool 80″s poster of David Hasslehoff in his leather pants leaning against Kit in Knightrider would spring to mind but fear not; they’ve been revamped even recycled, I’m sure we’re now calling them Vegan leather instead of faux leather? Please correct me if I’m wrong.
So far I’ve purchased these super green ones from Zara, full length and fab colour too and these chocolate brown 3/4 ones from la redoute which I am loving. I’m pairing them with my Ugly trainers which at the beginning when they first came out I thought, yes they live up to their name but now dare I mention the Love word again, I’m saying it a lot but I freckin love ugly trainers too.
Here’s my finds on the leather leggings / trousers on the high street.
1 River Island
2 Dorothy Perkins
3 Pretty Little Thing
4 Marks and Spencers
As always I hope you enjoyed this post and it helps you find that perfect pair of trousers. let me know in the comments below or on my Facebook or Instagram.
The weather is heating up and with Summer just round the corner I’m seeing at lot of the latest trend on Instagram & in magazine’s, yes I still read them! The trend I want to chat about is the Short Suit. Short suits have came back on trend every decade dating as far back as my favorite, the 80’s. I wa an eighties child and loved it. The power ballads, the films – Top Gun, Dirty Dancing, Flashdance, the fashion – shoulder pads, stiletto heels. It was the best.
Best get back to the post …….. Tailored shorts paired with a blazer is right up my street. I love a classic look, chic and stylish. Keeping it chic with a crisp white shirt for the office or a beautiful silk cami for nights out.
There’s some great choices on the online at the moment, I’m heading in to Glasgow this week so I will also be checking out the high street too.
Here are some of my favourites
And a few high end – a girl can dream right………
Will you be investing in the short suit this season? Let me know in the comments below.
Hey everyone, I want to get back basics, wardrobe basics that is. The staple pieces that I would advise you all to have in your wardrobe – if you don’t already. Pieces that never go out of fashion, the classic, effortless just put together look that makes you look & feel super chic!
Kick starting this series off with the camel coat – It looks amazing with an all black outfit or even cream! Worn with chunky knits in the chillier months is one of my favorite looks.
This coat comes in all different shapes and sizes, belted, double breasted, single breasted it really doesn’t matter. It’s your personal preference and what suits your style.
After searching around I have found a few reasonably priced ones to share with you. I really like the structure of this one from missguided and this double breasted one from River Island is on sale. Currently I have this one for my day to day and my best purchase of 2017 was my Jaeger camel coat down from £400 to £100. It was an absolute steal in the January sales last year. Unfortunately I don’t have a photograph of me wearing it (yet!)
I’ve linked a few different options down below
If you don’t already have a camel coat and your on the look out for one, I hope this post helped a bit.
